Gamucci Review After 3 Weeks of Quitting Cigarettes

I’m still loving my Gamucci !

The one thing I love above everything else now that I have owned my Gamucci for over 3 weeks is that I haven’t actually given up one of the few things I love to enjoy, and that is smoking!

The people ni my life who ask me how I’m getting on since giving up smoking get teh same reaction from me everytime, i tell them that “I haven’t given up smoking – I’ve simply given up smoking cigarettes!”

Strange but true, I’m still sitting down and enjoying a coffee and a smoke but not with a real cigarette but an electric little wonder.

I’m still finding myself waxing lyrical about the Gamucci everytime I smoke it in public, it never fails to draw attention, I realise that this is not something that everyone would want, the attention that is, but a friend of mine has found novel ways around this:

If he’s out in a bar or club he pops to the toilets for a smoke – remember that the Gamucci does nto give off any smell.

He also uses the pouch that comes with the Gamucci to hide the majority of the device when surrounded so as not to draw attention to what he is doing, the pouch is dark enough so that he can draw on it and the indicator that lights up at the end is not visable.

I’ve even seen him standing outside in the smoking area with the other smokers and none of them have actually realised that he is not smoking a traditional cigarette!

As for my own experiences, I find myself using the Gamucci less and less and I now make time for the device rather than trying to fit it in. I find that I can work for much longer periods without thinging about a nicotine hit and then making a coffee and relaxing for 5 minutes with the Gamucci before returning to work.

There is even a local company that has taken to buying its employees each a Gamucci, they realised that they were losing thousands of pounds by allowing them to take 5 or 10 minutes ‘cigarette breaks’, now that they have invested in Gamuccis fro their smoking staff they no longer have to leave their workstations until official break times.

A local radio DJ is also using a Gamucci, an avid smoker he constantly talks about it live on air and how he is sitting in his studio feeling naughty as he blows ’smoke’ all around the place without harming himself or others.

It seems that the Gamucci is here to stay, and why not? It has helped me enormously, especially on the health side – I no longer have those horrible ‘dry then wet’ throaty mornings, or the lack of breath when running or simply excerting myself. The Gamucci allows me to do something that I love and do not wish to give up without harming me in the same way a real cigarette would.

Still Smoking the Gamucci and Not Cigarettes !

Sorry sorry sorry – I know its been a long time since I last posted and if it wasn’t for a really contructive comment from Carassi I probably still would have forgotten to post! – Thanks Carassi

 

So, I am still smoking teh Gamucci and STILL loving it, we’ve just had some really hot weather here and I’ve been out in the Garden with an iced coffee and my Gamucci, the great thing is that because it has an atomisation chamber made from metal when left in the sun it heats up which really enhances the smoking experience. The extra heat makes the smoke a little harsher which is actually great for when you are outdoors as with normal smoking the wind tends to blow your exhaled smoke away and you don’t get that satisfaction of watching it spiral and float in front of you. When the Gamucci is hot it produces a lot more smoke so it is simialr to smoking a normal cigarette outside.

Other observations I have made over the past days include the fact that although you get 2 batteries with the Gamucci they can react differently, one lets me draw very slowly to get a huge lungful of vapour whilst the other likes to be smoked quite hard to get the same effect – it has ended up with me marking one of the batteries so I know how to get the maximum benefit from them.

Another trick I’ve learnt is to take a short, sharp draw before my main draw, this almost prepares or warms up the Gamucci and results in a far better drag and exhale.

I know I said in my original post that I would start jogging alongside giving up cigarettes, well finally I started the other night! ……………at midnight!

Strange but true, I finally donned my tracksuit and trainers and went for a ’short’ run around the block, apart from feeling completely knackered when I got home I did feel good about finally doing it. I’ve since done the same thing each night since and slowly expanded my jogging distance a little each time, my breathing is feeling so much better and no more wheezing in the mornings or any time of day!

 

I have to mention that I saw another Gamucci smoker the other day and it was great to share experiences, he was using his ALONGSIDE cigarettes for places where he couldn’t smoke normal cigarettes, ie: the bar where we got chatting. However, he did say that since he’s been using the Gamucci he has cut down on cigarettes from between 30 – 40 per day to just 10! Good going.

I promise I will post again soon, I’ve been really busy and obviously enjoying the sunshine!

Gamucci Electronic Cigarette with a Hangover!

OK, apologies all round – I haven’t posted for a couple of days and you can probably tell from the title of this post that I had a heavy one the other night!

BUT – What a night.

I have been suffering for the past couple of days and just haven’t had the motivation to post and so please accept my apologies, the first thing you need to know is that although I got extremely drunk I stuck to the Gamucci and did not have a normal cigarette, that’s quite a feat for me – alcohol usually dulls my willpower as I’m sure to does for others looking at some of the girls my freinds took home that night!

I embarked on a proper pub crawl with my Gamucci, we hit over 7 bars and 2 nightclubs all in the name of research

I can report that the overall reaction was amazing, doormen, managers and bar staff all wanted to know what the hell I was doing with a smoking pen in my mouth rather than trying to usher me out the door.

And it was GREAT to once again smoke in pubs and bars, I don’t think I have had to talk about any subject as much as I did the Gamucci that night – and with girls – lots of girls! Forget the cheesy chat-up lines, just smoke a Gamucci!

So, anyway, I am slowly recovering and have stuck to the Gamucci for my nicotine fixes and it has been brilliant, I am slowly coming to the conclusion that I may never have to smoke another traditional cigarette again – I’m getting my fix without the cancer and tar that are so bad for you.

The batteries are currently lasting me around 7 hours, I usually keep one on charge at home and one with me, they are taking around 4-5 hours to recharge so it works out well – could do with a car charger for long journeys soon.

I am also starting to replace the nicotine cartridges less often, when I first started smoking the Gamucci I was replacing the filter almost daily – now I can sqeeze two days out of one cartridge and I am saving LOADS of money. Considering that 5 cartridges which is the equivilent of 100 cigarettes is costing around £10.00 that is how much I am spending every 10 days – Thats not even 2 packets of normal cigarettes!

I intend to keep this blog updated as much as possible as I continue to smoke the Gamucci – I hope this will serve as a good review source for anyone wanting to try the product – I can highly recommend the Gamucci!

Day 3 – Impressed with Gamucci – You Bet !

If there is one thing I’ve leant over the past couple of days its that the Gamucci turns heads! It seems everywhere I go and take a puff on the electronic cigarette people instantly want to find out what I’m up to and what teh Gamucci is all about.

Today I have been into town and smoked the Gamucci in a non-smoking shopping centre, a guard or security person was instantly on my case, he literally ran over to me to tell me to leave the building but suddenly realised that what I was smoking was not a tradional cigarette. He was actually very good about the whole thing, I’m sure others would just frogmarch me out without questions but he was intrigued and we had a pleasant chat about the product.

Looks like he is now considering buying a Gamucci himself as he has tried to give up smoking may times in the past and failed – usually when having a beer with other smokers.

After the shopping centre encounter I decided to get a taxi home, the driver was astounded and was overly keen to find out where he could buy one. Turns out that cabbies are no longer allowed to smoke in their own vehicles and he had just found the answer he was looking for. He even radioed another driver who was equally excited.

Getting back to how I’m coping without cigarettes – I have to say that this is far easier than I ever expected. I don’t even feel that I have gone 3 days without a cigarette and am slowly coming around to the idea that I may never have another traditional cigarette again. I absolutely love the Gamucci, it gives me the hit but without the nasty stuff – smell, cancer, tar and the like.

I even thought up a tagline for the Gamucci – Its the hit without the sh*t! – I don’t think Gamucci will be using that one!

I am stupidly impressed with this small little product that I initially didn’t have a lot of confidence in, hence I wanted to write a blog about my experiences. This is by far the best thing I have bought in my lifetime, I’m enjoying smoking it but enjoying being healthy even more!

There is one thing I have failed to mention so far in my posts – It is that you have to smoke the Gamucci cigarette differently to a normal cigarette. It is a much slower and more relaxed way of smoking – something you have to make time for.

You have to draw or suck much slower than a normal cigarette and fill your entire mouth with smoke / vapour before inhaling to get a good cloud of the good stuff.

I’m off to bed now on the third day of my Gamucci adventure – I can’t wait for tomorrow as I’m on a night out in the town and intend to venture into lots of pubs and bars and maybe even end up in a nightclub – I wonder what the bouncers will make of the Gamucci in the dark?

Day 2 – Giving Up Smoking with the Electronic Cigarette

I SLEPT !!!

I am soooo impressed – I slept right through the night, no sweating, no getting up and craving a cigarette – just pure unadulterated SLEEP!

This is great, I got up this morning and got my usual nicotine headrush from the Gamucci before getting my usual caffiene fix – I sound like a damn junky!

Now here comes the testing:

Firstly, I was able to sneak into my local bars toilets and have a cigarette – well a Gamucci cigarette!

No smells so nobody knows, OK so I have always liked to smoke in the toilet and in your own home it bothers nobody, but you definitely could not get away with what I was doing in a toilet that wasn’t mine!

Next to stand at the end of the bar, order a drink (Peroni is my favourite beer) and take a good long tug on the Gamucci in full vision of the barman to get a reaction.

I inhaled as long as possible before the end started to flash and let out a long and air filling cloud of vapour.

“Is that one of those electronic cigarettes?” asked the barman – hes heard of them! “I’ve been waiting to see one of those in action, I can’t even smell anything!” I continue to explain to him how the device works and he even has a go himself.

Not exactly the reaction I was expecting but a good one all the same.

Later I take my Gamucci to a local restuarant, again I take a good drag and billow out the vapour for all to see, this time I see other diners talking under their breath and one immediately calls over a waiter.

The waiter approached me and I explained what and how the Gamucci worked, he then said “OK, that’s fine – I’ll explain it to the other customers” and that was that!

Aside from me testing the Gamucci in public, I have craved a real cigarette today but have not indulged myself, I have to give the Gamucci a chance – and myself!

A whole day  without smoking a cigarette!

Roll on tomorrow – I’m going to try the Gamucci in some new places and report back.

First Day of Not Smoking!

OK, so I might as well come clean, I had my new Gamucci electronic cigarette delivered some time ago but I hadn’t started to use it yet because I still had loads of duty free cigarettes to get through.

I know some people like to go through the ritual of screwing up the packets of their last cigarettes but I wanted my moneys worth and smoked the lot, to be honest it was also the daunting fact that once I start with the Gamucci I didn’t want to have cigarettes around the house to tempt me back!

So, today was the first day I stopped smoking and started to use the Gamucci, now this is strange – I had my last cigarette last night and went to sleep with no problems as usual. This morning I unwrapped the packaging, inserted one of the five high strength cartridges that comes with the Gamucci and started to smoke…………Whooooaaa!

I got that same ‘wobbly’ feeling that you expect from nicotine in a normal cigarette!

Great – I’ve got the buzz!

Now, taste – not as harsh or dirty feeling as a traditional cigarette but mildly satisfying – that said I have smoked the Gamucci far more today than I usually would a normal cig. Its strange, the Gamucci tastes of tobacco and if you smell the filter it smells like a reasonably clean ashtray, oh, that’s another thing – I’ve thrown out ALL of my ashtrays – I’m determined that this is going to be the last time I need them.

The Gamucci has bearly left my mouth today whilst I’ve been working, whereas before I would go downstairs to smoke or even outside if the weather is nice, I have been able to use it whilst I work as there is NO SMELL from the vapour.

I must admit that knowing that there is no harmful chemicals, tar or cancer causing nasties in the Gamucci I have really smoked far more than ususal – its like a great nicotine buzz but without the dirtiness or bad stuff from cigarettes.

Anyways – I’m off to bed now – this is important as the last time I gave up I went ‘cold turkey’ which really affected my sleep – I’m hoping that it will be different as I have had a whopping amount of nicotine today.

Give Up Smoking Cigarettes With Gamucci Electronic Cigarette

I am going to use this blog to tell everyone my progress whilst giving up smoking traditional cigarettes and instead trying the new electronic cigarette from Gamucci.

I have heard good things about the Gamucci and I’m hoping that at last I will be able to kick the habit, I have smoked since I was 14 years old – I am now 33!

I’m getting fed up with waking in the morning and feeling completely dried out until that first cough after that first cigarette loosens everything and, well, if you are a smoker then you know the rest – not very pleasant!

I am also starting to feel like my lungs are losing capacity, a tightening if you like which worries me slightly, I intend to start jogging alongside giving up smoking and will use this blog to report the differences I feel (if any) and my performance.

I hope all of this makes sense, I have ordered my Gamucci electronic cigarette online from Gamucci Shop and hope to take delivery within the next couple of days.
